Public Invited To March 12 Open House for Downtown Redevelopment

February 28, 2019

The Town of Greeneville will host an Open House for Downtown Redevelopment at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Office Professional Development Center. The public is invited to be involved in discussion about project design of Depot Street. The discussion will focus on approximately three blocks of Depot Street, from Cutler to College Street, according to Logan Engle, Planning Director for the Town of Greeneville. “The Town and our consultants are looking forward to sharing progress made over the past several months with the citizens of Greeneville,” Engle said.

Presentations will be made by engineers with Vaughn & Melton and representatives of CRJA, who specialize in landscape architectural design.

The Open House will include an opportunity for questions and answers, Engle said. Property owners, downtown merchants and church leaders, professionals who work downtown and others interested in the redevelopment of Depot Street are encouraged to attend. The Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Office is located at 129 W. Depot St.
