Dane Hinkle Band to Open & Threads of Faith to Headline Lyrics on the Lawn Thursday July 12th

Main Street Greeneville’s 2018 Summer Concert Series continues Thursday, July 12 at 7:00 pm. The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee. The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. This week’s concert will open with The Dane Hinkle Band followed by headliner Threads of Faith. The opening act will begin at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner taking the stage at 8. In the event of inclement weather the concert may be moved to The Capitol Theatre on S Main Street.

The Dane Hinkle Band Bio

The Dane Hinkle Band combines the talents of four musicians who play an eclectic blend of rock and blues-style original music. They write and perform each unique song, enhanced by the sound of vacuum-tube amps for a truly vintage sound. Vocal lead Dane Hinkle also plays guitar and harmonica. Michael Cable plays guitar, Taylor Johnson plays bass guitar, and Tad Norton completes the quartet on drums.

Threads of Faith Bio

Threads of Faith is a Bluegrass-Gospel group that was formed in November 2015. Members include Dale Shelton, David and Jennifer Weems along with Becky, Ty and Leah Fillers who worship together at Victory Church of God. They sign both traditional Bluegrass-Gospel songs along with some original songs written by group members.
They are known and have performed locally at the Greene County Fair, The Old Oak Festival, The Chuckey Ruritan Festival, chapters of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners in addition to numerous churches across the region.

Food Available

On site event food vendors for this concert include, Creamy Cup, Top Dog Hot Dogs and Main Street Greeneville. Food service is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.

Family Friendly Event

Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and select your spot to enjoy the evening. The event is Smoke Free. Please note pets are welcome however they must remain within the designated Fido Friendly area during the event. Next concert will be Thursday, July 12th.

Kaleidoscope Prints and Ornaments

Limited edition prints of Greeneville by artist Carol Chilton and custom designed ornaments of historic downtown and The Capitol Theatre will be available for purchase during the concerts at the Main Street Information tent. A fund raising effort of Main Street Greeneville, the proceeds go to support the organization and its projects. As in the past there will be the intermission “bucket pass” for donations.
