May 09, 2017

All Roads Lead to Main Street Greeneville — Join Us on the Journey

All Roads Lead to Main Street Greeneville is the theme for the organization’s 2017 annual meeting. You are invited to join in the journey. In addition to food and entertainment the evening will include a short business meeting for the election of officers, by the current membership, and a brief review of the organization’s activities over the previous year.

The event will be held outdoors at the Dickson-Williams mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville. The location is familiar to many as it is where the July music concert series – Lyrics on the Lawn is held.

Social hour will begin at 6:30 pm with the picnic buffet starting at 7:00 pm. Top Dog Catering will offer burgers, dogs, sausages with all the trimmings, salads, beverages and Ella’s award winning Strawberry Shortcake for all to enjoy. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children six and under.

Michael Jacobs to Perform
Award-winning recording artist Michael Jacobs creates a compelling musical mixture of roots rock, pop, and folk. His songs will entertain, inspire and challenge you. His passion and insights into the "human condition" are obvious. And while the songs are fruits of a well-traveled soul, they do not reflect a jaded one.
Besides receiving numerous awards and nominations, Michael's music has been used in many documentaries and other video presentations. To date, Michael has performed at over 250 colleges and universities in 45 states, besides numerous libraries, museums, pow-wows, festivals, fairs, house concerts and other gatherings across the U.S. and Canada. A member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, Michael’s an accomplished musician, and writing great songs remains his sole desire and fuels his ambition. Michael is no stranger to Greeneville as he has performed previously here at Lyrics in the Lawn.
