Historic Downtown Greeneville

This piece shows the historic beauty and quaintness of Greeneville. It depicts several of downtown’s notable buildings along Main Street looking north to south.

The custom designed and hand painted ornaments, all with stands, are made exclusively for Main Street Greeneville and produced by Hestia Creations.

The ornaments with stands will sell for $30 each. Each comes in its own black velvet lined gold gift box with bow.

Limited Edition Ornament The Capitol Theatre

The Capitol Theatre of Greeneville

The Capitol Theatre of Greeneville is the first in the limited edition series to be offered. The theatre has been a staple in this community for years, first showing motion pictures and being the site of the Davy Crockett Movie premiere in 1955, starring Fess Parker. It served for a time as the home of The Greeneville Little Theater. The iconic marquee having been recently restored brings a renewed vibrancy to the downtown landscape. It currently is a multi-use venue being used for anything from film, to live theatrical performances, concerts, meetings and weddings.

The custom designed and hand painted ornaments, all with stands, are made exclusively for Main Street Greeneville and produced by Hestia Creations.

1997 year released

Shortly after being elected to his fifth term as United States Congressman, Andrew Johnson traded 'this house' plus $950 for a large home on South Main Street. (2004 Replica) One of the first two historic building replicas issued. This building is retired and only available through the secondary market.

General Morgan Inn
1998 year released

The Grand Central Hotel as it was known in the late 1890's was elegantly furnished with wide halls having nearly 200 yards of carpeted promenade, the hotel featured two grand parlors, a ball room, and several private rooms for entertaining. This piece is now retired and available only through the secondary market.

Known as the "Cannon Ball Church" this structure is located on the corner and Main and Church Streets in historic downtown Greeneville. Fourth in the series this replica is retired and available only through the secondary market.

Old Greene County Gaol
1999 year issued

The original Greene County Gaol (or Jail as it is spelled now) was built between 1804 and 1805 of stone, making it the oldest standing jail in Tennessee. The red brick second story was erected in 1882. The fifth piece in the series is now retired and only available through the secondary market.

Asbury United Methodist Church
2000 year released

The cornerstone of this church was laid on October 2, 1911 and completed on April 12, 1912. Built of red brick with beautiful stain glass windows; the building has seen many changes through the years. This limited edition replica, while retired, remains available and is being offered with SPECIAL PRICING.

Dickson-Williams Mansion
2001 year released

Known as the "Showplace of East Tennessee" the mansion was erected by Greeneville's first postmaster, William Dickson as a gift to his only child Catharine. It was in this house, that General John Hunt Morgan slept the night before he was killed. The seventh in the series this replica has been retired and is only available through the secondary market.

The church was founded in 1780 with this brick structure being erected in 1848 where it continues to remain today in the center of town on Main Street. The eight in the series is retired and is only available through the secondary market.

Completed in 1916 at a cost of $50,000 and designed by architect Thomas S. Brown, it is of neo-Classical style. The ninth in the series of historic replicas this building is now retired and only available through the secondary market.

The brick house, built in 1850, on South Main Street would someday be known as the "Homestead", the home of the 17th President of the United States and part of the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site. First Baptist Church
2005 year released

The First Baptist Church of Greeneville was officially organized on July 30, 1872 with eight members. On August 4, 1947 groundbreaking services were held at the location on North Main Street on what would become the new church building where the first services in that newstructure were held on December 12, 1948. Eleventh in the limited edition replica series inventory remains and being offered with SPECIAL PRICING.
