Thursday July 2nd Brings Music Back to the Mansion — Weekly Concert Series
Lyrics on the Lawn 2015 Summer Concert Series begins Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 pm. The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee. The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. The opening act will begin at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner takes the stage at 8. In the event of inclement weather the concerts will be held inside at The Capitol Theatre of Greeneville located on South Main Street.
Les Ford Band — Opens First Concert of the Season
Les Ford began his musical journey nearly ten years ago. He played in many local venues with Adire, a band he helped form. He then went on to form Star City Meltdown, which gained success and popularity outside of East Tennessee. He began to tour and had the opportunity to open for bands such as Saliva, Pop Evil, Framing Hanley and others. Les Ford has returned to his roots though, an acoustic guitar and a microphone. Alongside with Johnathon Hyatt and Tim Shelton, The Les Ford Band was born.
Daisi Rain — Opening Headliner
Daisi Rain is an American country-pop music group. Founded in 2004 and comprised of siblings and founders: Cameron Brown (lead guitar, banjo), Donovan Brown (drums, b/u vocals), Amelia Brown (fiddle, b/u vocals, and mandolin). Joined by, Whitney White (lead vocals), Neal Brantner (bass guitar). Over the years, this group has worked hard to build a fine reputation and establish themselves on the music scene. They have earned credibility opening for major Nashville artists as: Easton Corbin, Ashton Shepherd, Jerrod Niemann, and Craig Campbell; and have warmed the stage for: John Anderson, Jana Kramer, The Newsboys, and The Lovin' Spoonful. Daisi Rain has been honored to have worked under the consultation of Grammy Award winner, Mrs. Linda Davis, as they accomplished their second Nashville recording in 2013 with Mr. Tony Harrell (producer) and Mr. Chad Carlson (recording engineer). Daisi Rain is currently producing six new original songs to build their existing EP into a freshman album.

On site event food vendors include, Creamy Cup, Myers Greenhouse Kettle Corn, Top Dog Hot Dog and Main Street Greeneville. Food service is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.
Family Friendly Event
Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and select your spot to enjoy the evening. The event is Smoke Free. Please note pets are welcome however they must remain within the designated Fido Friendly area. Next concert in the series will be Thursday, July 9th.
