Main Street Greeneville Announces Custom Designed Limited Edition Ornaments for 2018

The custom designed and hand painted ornament series started in 2017 and was inspired by the organization’s past Historic Building Replica Series. When it became difficult to locate a vendor to continue the building series Main Street looked for an alternate project that would not only showcase the community but also be a major fund raiser for the non-profit organization.

The custom designed and hand painted ornaments, all with stands, are made exclusively for Main Street Greeneville in the United States and produced by Hestia Creations.

New for 2018 – Dickson-Williams Mansion

The Dickson-Williams Mansion is the second in the limited edition series to be offered. The mansion was constructed from 1815-1821 as a gift to Catharine the only daughter of William Dickson Greeneville’s first postmaster. Over the years it has served the community as a school, orphanage and in recent years prior to restoration the Greeneville Hospital where many folks in the community today were born. Presently the home is open daily and may be toured under the direction of professional docents.

Andrew Johnson – From Tailor to President

This piece honors one of our community’s most famous individuals showing elements of his life. It depicts the Tailor Shop, Homestead and Johnson himself. This is a perfect addition to a historic ornament series. It makes a great memento for visitors as they take back with them a little piece of our history.
