Jann Mirkov, Executive Director of Main Street Greeneville said “This has been so much fun. We want to thank not only those who participated by entering but also those who voted. Engaging the public to vote was a wonderful idea with 434 votes being cast this year. It is our hope that more and more scarecrows will be entered in the 2016 contest. We see this as a community opportunity to have fun while making our downtown district very, very festive. A big thank you also goes out to all those who have decorated their homes and businesses in support of this event. We look forward to our “Seventh Annual Scarecrows of Main” in 2016.”
