Main Street Greeneville’s Fifth and Final Concert Set for Thursday July 30th

Lyrics on the Lawn 2015 Summer Concert Series comes to a close for the season Thursday, July 30 at 7:00 pm. The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee. The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. The opening act will begin at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner takes the stage at 8. Emcee for the series will be Woody J. In the event of inclement weather the concerts will be held inside at The Capitol Theatre of Greeneville which is located on South Main Street. Check website and Facebook for updates.

Hayden Garber

Hayden Garber is a 16 year old singer/songwriter and musician born and raised in the hills and hollers of East Tennessee. He performs originals and covers from all decades starting from the 1960's all the way up to music played in today's modern world. Starting as early as walking age, and with his band behind him, the 6'3" fire-starting singer travels all over to perform shows while working on writing and recording as well. Hayden's genre is Country, but he definitely has some strong rock influences in his music as well. With his first single "Grandpa's Pontiac," airing on the radio, and a new CD coming soon, this young artist is setting fire to the new music of today. ".

Kids Our Age

KIDS OUR AGE is a musical trio formed 26 years ago that has performed in Northeast Tn. and beyond continuously since their creation. KIDS OUR AGE is: David Riggs, vocals, bass, James Lane, keyboards, vocals, and Jim Philyaw, drums, percussion

Besides having extensive experience playing various musical styles at numerous venues over the years, they recently released a five song CD of original music titled "ORIGINALLY YOURS" which they will feature during their show July 30 for Lyrics on the Lawn at the Dickson-Williams Mansion

Food Available

On site event food vendors include, Creamy Cup, Myers Pumpkin Patch Kettle Corn and Fudge, Top Dog Hot Dog and Main Street Greeneville. Food service is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.

Family Friendly Event

Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and select your spot to enjoy the evening. The event is Smoke Free. Please note pets are welcome however they must remain within the designated Fido Friendly area.
